Chesterfield Pride to go ahead after last year's event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic

While residents were left disappointed after the town’s Pride celebrations were postponed because of the pandemic, the Chesterfield event is scheduled to return on July 18 in line with lockdown easing plans.
Chesterfield Pride is one of the biggest and best attended Pride events in the region, attracting over 6,000 visitors to its 2019 LGBTQ+ celebration.

Hide AdAs part of this summer’s line up, the event is set to welcome acts such as Big Brovaz and Booty Luv - who were a firm favourite with crowds in 2018, along with 80’s heart throb Nathan Moore, who is best known for being the front man for Brother Beyond.
Clubland diva Kelly Llorenna will also perform on the main stage, alongside dance act Natalie Browne and Pride favourite Kelly Wilde.
Chesterfield Pride’s Cabaret Stage is confirmed to return this year with a host of local artists performing and showcasing their skills including Rachael Webster, Yesterday’s Gone, HBBRD and Andrew Warner.
Attendees can also enjoy drag performances from artists KY Kelly, Jackie Love and Donna Trump – while more acts are still to be announced.

Hide AdThere will be a market area packed with stalls, food outlets, a bar and a VIP area at the event this year which is having a makeover thanks to sponsorship from Van Dykes Hotel in Clowne.
This event go ahead subject to Covid-19 restrictions and only if it is deemed safe to do so.
