'We could have had four or five against them' - Chesterfield fan columnist reflects on win against Barnet
and live on Freeview channel 276
Frankly, we have battered them twice this season and we could easily have had four or five goals against them on Saturday, but let’s not be greedy.
Football is a highly nuanced game and many of us tire of the antics of cheating players, financial irregularities and managers blaming all and sundry for their own shortcomings.

There was an ugly end to the game, though, when Barnet’s Ben Richards-Everton sent off for a foul on Nathan Tyson. The kicking of our trainer’s bag as he petulantly stormed off the pitch should result in a five-match ban and a community service order!
It looks like the National League will finally decide what to do with Dover Athletic. Surely they must find a reasonable solution, although I would happily swap Dover being relegated to Division 10 of the East Kent Sunday League if it means Chesterfield can go up one place on goal difference, in the interests of being reasonable, obviously.
The play-offs could still be on despite those defeats to Maidenhead United and Sutton United.
There are still plenty of points to play for and I am looking forward to see how far we can go.
