Former Spireite in the running for recruitment role at Proact
The former Spireites player has been interviewed this week by Gary Caldwell for the vacant head of recruitment post.
Lemon, 50, joined Chesterfield as a midfielder in 1989 and scored 10 times in 85 appearances.

Hide AdHe currently scouts for Scunthorpe United, but is known by Caldwell having worked for Wigan Athletic during the Scot’s time there.
Caldwell approached Lemon with a view to discussing the Proact vacancy and they were spotted together at the reserve game on Tuesday.
Lemon has confirmed on social media that he’s hopeful of landing the job.
The Derbyshire Times understands the club want to make an appointment by the end of the weekend and may interview at least one more candidate before then.
