The striker, 27, joined the Spireites from Notts County in August of last year, is yet to start a game under the new manager.
He has three goals from 18 appearances this campaign but didn’t feature in Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Bristol Rovers.

Hide AdDefender Trotman, 25, meanwhile, signed from Rochdale in January after a loan spell and has made 15 appearances this season.
Cook said: “We’re working hard on a daily basis to improve results and there will be changes in personnel.
“We’ve can’t just bring players in and put pressure on the club’s wage bill. Players must leave the club.
“Craig and Neal have both done well for this club but we feel that their futures lie elsewhere.

The new boss has also cut short winger Mich Evans’ loan from Blackburn Rovers as he continues to assess the Spireites’ squad.
The 19-year-old’s loan ended in January and has made five appearances for the club.
Cook added: “I’d like to thank Micah for coming to the club and getting some first-team experience. Due to the lack of opportunities, we feel it’s beneficial for the lad’s career for him to go back to Blackburn.”
