The 28-year-old, who recently signed a new contract, is facing several months out and is probably likely to miss the start of next season as well.

Hide Ad“It is a rupture so it is a serious one,” Spireites manager James Rowe said.
“It is an unfortunate one, one he did not deserve on his form.
“It is a blow for us but we move forward, try and be as positive as we can, give him the environment that he needs to recover and the support and I am sure he will come back stronger knowing that the character he is.”
When asked if that was Hollis’ season over, Rowe replied: “And some.”
