Stolen van involved in thefts from HGVs stopped by police on M1 near Chesterfield
Officers say the van had cloned plates from the West Yorkshire area and was carrying stolen wine taken from Leicester Forest East service station.
The vehicle was stopped near to junction 30 on Thursday evening.

Hide AdIn a tweet posted on Twitter, Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said: "A combination of patience and great intelligence from @NorthantsPolice gets us yet another stolen vehicle on cloned plates involved in thefts from HGVs. Stolen a load of wine from Leicester Forest East. Two arrested. Load and vehicle recovered."
The operation was also carried out in partnership with Derbyshire Armed Response Unit, which tweeted: "Once again great teamwork with @DerbyshireRPU and @NorthantsPolice."
