Safety advice for rural Derbyshire roads
GEM Motoring Assist released the information inresponse top statistics showing that three people die every day in collisions on rural roads.
Advice includes slowing down, taking nothing for granted even on roads that you know well, looking out for animals and making safe maneovres while overtaking.

Hide AdGEM chief executive David Williams said: “Crashes occur frequently because motorists meet unexpected hazards such as sharp bends, animals or oncoming traffic. If they’re already driving at an inappropriate speed, then they simply won’t have the time and space they need to stop safety.”
