Runaway coach ploughs into Clowne car park
The incident happened shortly after midday today after the driver got out of his coach to go to a nearby shop.
When he returned, his coach had travelled 200 metres down the hill, through bollards and railings on Mill Street and into the council car park.
Eyewitnesses say it is a ‘miracle’ no one was injured.

The police are still at the scene overseeing removal of the coach and the Highways Agency have also been in attendance to fix the railings.
The police told us no other vehicles were involved and they will be investigating whether the vehicles handbrake may have been the cause.
