People in Chesterfield have one more week to have their voices heard and fill out the Listening to Chesterfield 2021 survey.
Mr Perkins has spent the summer recess conducting doorstep surveys in the 17 wards within his constituency to hear what constituents think about issues such as mask wearing, vaccine passports and other matters which he may be asked to vote upon in Parliament.

Mr Perkins said: “It’s been a rollercoaster, having had to self-isolate twice and being recalled to Parliament, which kept requiring re-arrangements, but I have managed to conduct a listening session in every single ward in Chesterfield this summer and get a broad range of opinions.
“As your MP, that feedback from my constituents is so important.
"I wanted to hear from the silent majority, not just the loudest voices on social media, and as people will see when I publish the results, some key themes emerge as well as other issues which are much more finely balanced.”

He added: “There is still time to have your say and I want as many people as possible to complete the survey.
"If you have had one through your door, you can send it back via freepost, or you can still fill it in online.
“I always want to hear my constituents’ views, even if we might disagree sometimes! I have always taken the approach that I want to get out there and hear from my constituents.
