The popular open-air swimming pool on Oddfellows Road, in Hathersage, will reopen on Monday, March 29 as part of the next phase of easing Covid-19 restrictions in the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown.
Hathersage Pool will open with a ‘soft opening’ until the end of March, with the full timetable commencing from Thursday, April 1.

Hide AdCapacity has, however, been ‘more than halved’ to allow for a Covid safe operation – and demand is expected to be at an ‘all-time high’ as schools break up for Easter.
In a Facebook post, Hathersage Swimming Pool said: "Demand will be incredibly high for for the first 2-3 weeks as our opening coincides with school holidays and indoor pools remain closed until 12th April.
"Our capacity is reduced by more than half for Covid safe operation so please bear with us whilst booking.”
Tickets for ‘pay as you swim’ sessions can be booked online although customers are encouraged to book before visiting to guarantee entry as “the pool is currently very popular and is often fully booked.”

Hide AdAdvance tickets for Monday's reopening are already sold out – and, at time of writing, there are only just a handful of tickets available for non-members left on April 1.
April memberships are also sold out with no further passes available.
Hathersage Pool said it will be releasing tickets weekly to reduce the need for cancellations and give everyone a “fair chance of booking sessions.”
