Derbyshire golf club bids to sell booze and host live music

Shirland Country Club, at Shirland Golf Club, has applied to North East Derbyshire District Council for a licence which will also allow it to sell booze until 1am during the week.
The Pit Lane venue wants to show films and host dance events until 1am Sunday to Thursday and until 2am on Friday and Saturday.

Hide AdShirland Golf Club is described on its website as ‘a picturesque 18 hole parkland golf course with varying tree-lined holes of elevation and difficulty, providing a great test of your all round game’.
