Peak volunteers rewarded for litter pick
As a reward for their good work, the authority treated them to a go at climbing, high ropes or abseiling.
The Pick and Play event was organised by the Peak Park Conservation Volunteers and Castleton-based outdoor activity company Peak Mountaineering.

Hide AdLitter picks were organised at Burbage Plantation, Tideswell Dale and Pindale near Castleton. Among the rubbish they collected were old tyres, a TV, a duvet, tarpaulin shelters and a multitude of cans, bottles and food-wrappers.
