Mum takes on brutal challenge in memory of her daughter
Jo Wayne and a friends have signed up for the Tough Mudder event, which takes place this weekend.
The challenge, billed as one of the toughest events on the planet, puts competitors through 12 miles of Special Forces standard training obstacles – including electric shocks, underwater tunnels and a mile of mud.

Jo, who now has two healthy sons with husband Andrew, said: “I wanted to do something that nobody else had done, something that would be a challenge, to remember Hannah and raise money for a really good cause.”
As soon as Jo mentioned the challenge, friends signed up for the challenge or offered to help out while she trained. To donate to Team Hannah, visit www.mycharitypage/teamhannah. Jo would like to thank Matlock Building Services for sponsoring a mini bus to take the team to the event.
