Man arrested after thefts from vans in Amber Valley
The 26-year-old, of Sheffield, was arrested by officers from the North Division Operational Support Team on Thursday, November 11. He is currently on bail pending further enquiries.
The arrest comes as officers investigate a number of thefts of tools from vans across the area where tools have been stolen.

Hide AdInspector Pat Howitt, who oversees policing in the Amber Valley, said: "Officers are carrying out patrols in areas where we have seen increased reports of vans being broken into - not only to help prevent them but also to look out for suspicious activity and catch those responsible.
"Enquiries and investigations are underway in connection with these incidents but in the meantime I would urge tradespeople and van drivers to be alert and to always make sure vehicles are locked and secure before leaving them.
"Whenever possible, remove tools and other valuables and security mark them so they are less attractive to thieves and could be identified to you if they are stolen and recovered."
