Derbyshire restaurant makes The Sunday Times 100 for places to eat
Fischers at Baslow Hall, on Calver Road, has made the list.
The stately home, built in 1907, and owned by Max and Susan Fischer since 1988 is home where head chef Rupert Rowley does his cooking. The restaurant combines classic favourites with more modern combinations and relies heavily on British produce in season.

“Basing it on the ratings of everyday restaurant-goers, who are paying their own money, means it is an honest reflection of the nation’s tastes, so chefs and restaurants should be truly proud to make the list.”
The list is compiled by The Sunday Times in association with Harden’s – now in its sixth annual edition, it is based on 63,000 reviews from almost 7,000 diners.
