"The dog then ripped Milos collar from his neck when attempting to bite his neck, I then attempted to get Milo out of harms way when I was then also scratched and the dog attempted to bite me.
"Milo then bolted away from me as he was scared and I had to find him and get him home safely.
"Luckily I managed to get him home where he has since been shaking and crying repeatedly.

The dog-walker said she was ‘utterly saddened’ by the attack and the owner for ‘neglecting’ his pet and urged others to be careful when walking in the area.
She added: “Please be aware and vigilant when walking your dog, Milo was walking calmly by my side on his lead when we was surprised with the attack.
“Why the dog was off of his lead I have no idea.
"The attack was unprovoked and clearly aggressive, I feel utterly saddened at the fact that the owner has neglected his dog to the point he’s attacked my dog and via police input other dogs.
