Attack in Staveley leaves man with serious facial injuries

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault to come forward and help with enquiries.
The force was called to reports of a disturbance in Duke Street, Staveley, at 7.15pm today (17 Nov). At the scene, a man was found with injuries to his face and has been taken to hospital.

Hide AdAnother man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, in particular anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage that may have captured the incident.
