Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in Staveley town centre last night (Sunday, September 12).
Crews from Staveley used a thermal imaging camera as they brought the fire under control on High Street, Staveley, at about 10.45pm.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: “Crews used one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish a fire involving rubbish on High Street.”

Elsewhere, at 7.52pm, Heanor crews put out a fire involving a bale of hay on Milnhay Road in Langley Mill.
