Council tax freeze approved
In a meeting last Thursday, Derbyshire Dales District Council has voted in favour of the recommendation, which will maintain average bills for district council services at just 50 pence a day.
The freeze was agreed despite a near £500,000 central government grant cut in 2014/15, which comes on top of grant reductions of a 15.6 per cent last year and 16.2 per cent in 2012/13.
