Chesterfield Hotel's new owners make plea to Chesterfield Borough Council
Prestige Hotels (Midlands) Ltd is calling on the council to reduce business rates for the property over the coming months while it carries out £300,000 of repair and refurbishment work. It was on the market with a rateable value of £124,000.
Huw Bowen, the council's chief executive, said: "We would welcome the opportunity to meet the new owners of Chesterfield Hotel and talk to them to find out more about their future plans for the building."
