Bolsover Facebook monster awaits court sentence
Chesterfield magistrates’ court previously heard how Jonathan Slater, of Houfton Road, Bolsover, sent the messages which included sexual and death threats.
Prosecuting solicitor Ian Shaw said the complainant said the defendant had taken the view his dad owed him money.

Hide AdMr Shaw said the messages were “quite vile” and caused great upset.
Slater pleaded guilty, that at Matlock and elsewhere in November, he caused his father’s partner to fear violence would be caused against her by the sending of offensive Facebook messages. Julie Page, defending, said Slater began offending after the breakdown of his relationship with his father.
The case was considered at Derby Crown Court on Monday and adjourned until September 26.
