The Bridge Inn in Calver, just 20 minutes from Sheffield and Chesterfield, and a mile or two from Chatsworth House, has announced that it will reopen August 13.
Graeme McHattie, alongside his partner Ellie, and their team, will be offering customers a broader and “price conscious” menu, celebrating classic pub dishes such as lasagne, fish and chips and scampi to reflect the “current times and needs”.

“The health and safety measures will always be our priority, and that is firmly at the heart of all, which has led to some inevitable changes - but we are excited to show our customers our revised look and approach as we embark on the new era.”
Graeme’s brother David, proprietor of the pubs sister business, The Devonshire Arms in Baslow, which reopened last month, added: “The last few months have been a challenging time for us, and the hospitality industry generally – but we are now back, and grateful to our landlord Greene King for the support they have given us.
“We are extremely proud that the pubs remain within our family, and I can honestly say that the team, menu, service and hospitality has never been better.”
