Adventurer's epic voyage
On Wednesday, June 15, she will take to the Buxton Adventure Festival stage to tell the story of extreme conditions and remote environments as she navigated the northern hemisphere entirely under her own steam.
After setting off in April 2011, Sarah encountered a typhoon on the North Pacific, which forced amid-ocean rescue from her rowing boat, as well as a hurricane on the Atlantic after 143 days at sea.

Hide AdShe kayaked some of the most treacherous waterways in the world and cycled across North America during one of the harshest winters on record.
After the journey that took two more years than planned, Sarah cycled and kayaked the final leg from Falmouth to London, paddling under Tower Bridge in November 2015.
