Buxton will be visited by a touch of 1930s society next month as the third Ivor Novello festival comes to the town.
The festival, at The Opera House, sees performances of films including Glamourous Night, the first musical written by the Welsh composer, playwright and actor, excerpts from his film career, and readings about his work.

Visitors will get the chance to try their hand at a big Novello number as part of a workshop.

The festival will run from Monday, August 25, to Saturday, August 30.

Evening shows begin at 7.30pm and matinees start at 2.30pm. For a programme of events click here.
