Once the TSB building finally closes its doors next week, the nearest available point for residents in Chesterfield to get free cash withdrawals, balance checks or pay in cheques will be in the Post Office inside WHSmith in The Pavements, along with the Post Offices on Newbold Road and Grangewood Road.
The closure of the Chesterfield town centre building has sparked concern about the impact of high street closures and another well-known building becoming vacant.
Toby Perkins MP previously described the decision as ‘hugely disappointing’ and a ‘massive blow’ for the town.

The banking firm said the decision was made after not enough people were making use of the branch which will formally shut on Tuesday, June 18.
Barclays confirmed the closure will not leave Ripley without town centre banks, with branches of Nationwide and Lloyds located nearby in Oxford Street.
