Hide AdMMT has been going in various guises since 1907 and members want to keep moving the company foward. To do this they need new and enthusiastic blood, especially under 50s and, as always, men.
Performances are varied and year-round, including musicals, concerts, revues and carol singing. The company added a new string to its bow last month by staging the panto Beauty & the Beast.
Productions entitled Right Royal Revue and American Dream featured a wide range of music from shows and the world of popular music such as items from My Fair Lady, Half a Sixpence, Miss Saigon and Hairspray and numbers by artists from Frank Sinatra and Elvis to Abba and Lady Gaga.
The company have taken their shows to community halls, schools and theatres.

If you can’t make the taster session, you would be welcome at a rehearsal. The company meets on Wednesdays at 7.30pm at the church hall of Matlock Methodist and United Reformed Church on Bank Road. Check out the websitematlock-musical-theatre, and Facebook and Twitter.
