Here are Liam Norcliffe’s player ratings from the game...
1. Corey Addai 6
The Barnsley stopper came in on an emergency loan on the day of the game and didn't let anyone down. He was not at fault for any of the three goals. His distribution was good and at 6ft 7in he is a big unit. Photo: Steve Flynn/AHPIX LTD
2. Jordan Cropper 7
Chesterfield's best player on the night. He was a threat going forward down the right and caused Altrincham lots of problems in the first half. His long throw was always a danger and he scored a superb goal to make it 2-2. Unlucky not to have scored a second when his deflected effort hit the underside of the bar and bounced out. 3. Josef Yarney 4
He came in for Jamie Sharman and he started on the front foot and linked up well with Cropper. But as the game went on he struggled and was part of a three-man defence which conceded another three goals. Photo: Steve Flynn/AHPIX LTD
4. Will Evans 3
A poor night for the captain who is clearly lacking in confidence. Is it time he was left out? Photo: Steve Flynn/AHPIX LTD
