Karl Steed wants an extra ten per cent from Selston
Selston are yet to win this season and only picked up their first point at the tenth time of asking.
But the Parishioners remain level on points with Haughmond and Steed feels his strugglers now have a great chance to kick on.

“I think fitness was an issue before and we haven't played for 90 mins. If we play for 75 mins it’s not long enough or good enough.
“We need to find the extra 10 per cent to match teams and get something out of games. The players know what has been asked of them.
“I have spoken to a few players individually who have had knocks and hopefully they can come back fit and ready.

Steed also believes his current playing unit has what it takes to beat relegation this season.
“We have been in this situation before where we have looked solid and teams can't break us down, then we have a lapse of concentration or conceded a wonder goal and heads drop,” he said.
“The lads have spoken about it. They are honest and the expectation levels have never changed from myself or the lads
“I’ve no doubt that the players there are the right players to get out of the situation we have got ourselves in.“
