A grand total of 117 dedicated Chesterfield fans made the long trip to Essex on Tuesday to see their side take on Colchester.
The Spireites were held to a 1-1 draw with a marked improvement from Saturday’s performance at Crewe.
Gary Caldwell will be hoping his players can go one better this weekend at home to Accrington with a much needed win.
