VIDEO & PICTURES: Hope Show a success despite washout
Hundreds of fun-seeking families flocked to the traditional agricultural event on Bank Holiday Monday.
Visitors enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells of rural life thanks to a jam-packed schedule of attractions.

Hide AdThe show included a variety of displays, classes and competitions including sheepdogs, horses, cattle and poultry.
There were also vintage cars, horticulture shows, craft displays and lots more.
Organisers hailed the show as “spectacular” – despite heavy rain throughout the day.
Dating back to 1853, Hope Show raises money for societies and charities in the area.
