Well-known Chesterfield shopkeeper set to have her hair shaved off in aid of the Sick Children’s Trust

Julie Sihota, who owns the Nisa Local store in Old Whittington, will have her hair shaved off next month.
The 51-year-old is raising money for the Sick Children’s Trust – and has so far brought in a remarkable £4,120 for the charity.

Hide AdJulie, of Slayley View Road, Barlborough, said: “I always do something for charity each year and this year I wanted to help children.
“I saw the Sick Children’s Trust on Facebook and thought that doing something for them would really help.
“I am scared to shave my hair – but it will grow back.
“I just want to make a difference.”
Julie’s family described her as a ‘role model’ and said they ‘couldn’t ask for a better wife, mum and grandma’.
Julie, who is married with three children and two grandchildren, added: “I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me.

The Sick Children’s Trust thanked Julie for her generous efforts.
Every year the charity helps thousands of families who have a seriously ill child in hospital by providing them with a warm and comfortable place to stay when they need it most.
Julie will have her hair shaved off at her home on December 6.
