The lambs have been born at Landmarks Specialist College’s working farm in Eckington – which provides learners with a ‘farm to fork’ curriculum and hands-on experience of looking after animals.
Six lambs have now been born at the farm, marking the end of lambing season for another year.

College vice-principal Jayne Price said it had been a slightly different season this year because of coronavirus.
“We are open for a small number of learners because we provide specialist provision for children of key workers,” she said.
“Lambing season has been a little different this year but all the new arrivals are doing well. Our ‘farm to fork’ curriculum has been really successful and opened up discussion for our learners about topics like the ethical treatment of animals, sustainability and carbon footprint.”
