Monyash Primary School event raises thousands for much-needed equipment
With a tearoom, tombola, bouncy castle and Bake Off-style produce show, the children, teachers and parents of the school drew crowds from far and wide to their annual fundraiser
Headteacher Sharon Slack said: “This is a fantastic total and testament to the hard work put in by everybody in the school.

“The money raised will go a long way towards paying for vital learning resources and other projects in the future.”
The event was organised by the Monyash Parents, Teachers and Friends Association, which collected prizes and sold raffle tickets in the run-up to the day.
The school was recently rated as ‘good’ by inspectors from the Church of England.
