Inspirational Andrew gears up for charity ride
Andrew Davies, 19, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) when he was 13 and had to have a bone marrow transplant.
And to repay the staff at Sheffield Children’s Hospital who looked after him, he decided he wanted to raise a huge £150,000 – the cost of a bone marrow transplant to the NHS.

Hide AdHis fundraising total now stands at around £142,500 and he hopes to reach his magical target by completing a charity cycle ride from Liverpool - where he now studies at John Moores University - to Skegness between August 3-6.
Andrew, who attended Lady Manners School in Bakewell, will be calling in at the children’s hospital and Chesterfield during his ride.
