'Deeply offensive' graffiti removed from Chesterfield underpass
Members of the Chesterfield and north Derbyshire branch of the Stand Up To Racism group have repainted the underpass at Loundsley Green.
Jeannie Robinson, of the group, said: "Recently, activists from Stand Up To Racism were distressed by some graffitti scrawled on the underpass.

Hide Ad"It was deeply offensive to Muslim and LGBT+ people so we decided to take some paint and restore it to its former glory.
"People, passing by, were very pleased to see it being removed.
"We do not want Chesterfield to be a place that is hostile to minorities."
On Saturday, a coachload of Stand Up To Racism campaigners travelled from Chesterfield to London for the National Unity Demonstration against Racism and Fascism.
They joined around 40,000 people for the demonstration on the streets of the capital.
