“The team has been busy getting to know the local community and has set a target of £850 to raise for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, with fund-raising summer open days, face painting, quiz nights and charity raffles all planned during July and August.
“We are also hosting a community event on July 18 with The Derby Federation for Mental Health where we will be gardening, growing vegetables and creating habitats for wildlife so that the Federation’s service users can sit, relax and enjoy a local green space.”
The hotel’s 58 bedrooms will showcase the company’s latest high-spec, modern design with a 40” flat screen TV, a luxury king-size Hypnos bed and self-service check-in facilities.
