Police release CCTV image of man wanted in connection with Chesterfield assault

The force uploaded the images online today (April 1) in an attempt to trace several offenders who are claimed to have committed or witnessed crimes on camera in Chesterfield.
A picture of a man in a grey hoodie, taken outside Queen’s Park was released as officers are keen to speak to him about an alleged assault.

Hide AdIt comes after a victim was hit with an unbroken bottle on Sunday, March 28.
Officers also circulated an image of two women wearing face coverings who police want to speak to in connection with the theft of a purse in Marks and Spencer on High Street.
Police said an innocent person was distracted in the store on February 26 by a female arriving at the tills and then later discovered her purse had gone.
The force said they are keen to speak to both women pictured in the CCTV footage.

Hide AdA man and a woman are also sought by officers in connection with an instance of theft by finding in Chesterfield on February 17.
An innocent person allegedly lost cash outside Love Coffee in the town centre and a man and a woman who were seen to be picking up the purse.
The images may be of both potential suspects or witnesses.
