Members of the public voiced their concerns about regular and dangerous speeding in the area by speaking to police from the Bakewell, Hathersage and White Peak Villages Safer Neighbourhood Team – who ‘thanked’ residents for speaking up.
Residents also submitted their thoughts by completing a report of speed concern via the Crest website which prompted the speed checks.
Anyone who has concerns about speeding in local areas should report information about the offences to officers online.
