Chesterfield man sent an abusive text while still serving a suspended prison sentence

Jason Paul Wilson sent the message on October 24 last year, which is described as “grossly offensive, or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character”.
Wilson, 36, or Cordwell Avenue, Newbold was still serving a suspended prison sentence for assault and criminal damage - imposed by Chesterfield Magistrates’ Court in May 2018 - at the time he committed the latest offence, court records show.

Hide AdWilson admitted sending the communication and also committing an offence while still subject to a suspended sentence when he appeared before magistrates in Chesterfield on July 27.
He must complete the 31-day building better relationships programme with the Probation Service and a further 12 rehabilitation activity days, along with 200 hours of unpaid work in the community.
He was also fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
