Certificate of Excellence for popular tourist site
The site has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.
Now in its fifth year, the award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great reviews on the TripAdvisor website.

Piers Bostock, chairman of Heage Windmill Society, said the award is richly deserved after all the hard work volunteers had put in.
He said: “There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s visitors.
“We always have tried to offer a great experience but this is the crust on our loaf when our visitors themselves declare how well we perform.

The mill will be receiving a certificate commemorating the award and will be able to add the TripAdvisor’s logo to all of its publicity outlets.
“TripAdvisor is pleased to honour exceptional hospitality businesses that have received consistent praise and recognition by travellers on the site,” said Marc Charron President, TripAdvisor for Business.
Heage windmill was reopened earlier this year after a six-month closure.
