The news comes a week after the hospital announced it was ‘coronavirus-free’ for the first time since March.
A spokesperson for Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust told the Derbyshire Times on Tuesday morning: “We were delighted to have a handful of days where we were ‘Covid-19 free’.

The spokesperson added: “As we start planning for winter, we are urging everyone to support the hospital by helping to prevent cases of infection and their spread.
“Protect others by having your flu jab, wear a face covering in the hospital and while out shopping, wash hands frequently with water and soap for at least 20-seconds – and use sanitiser when water isn’t available.
“Social distancing is still vital, especially in clinical environments, and if you have symptoms that could be Covid-19, flu or diarrhoea and sickness please don’t come to our hospital or GP surgeries – seek advice about self-isolating, testing and self-care either online or through NHS 111.”
The trust has seen a total of 138 Covid-19-related deaths
