Firefighters from Chesterfield Fire Station have been training this week to become vaccination volunteers and administer immunisation jabs against Covid-19 to the public.
In a social media post, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said emergency workers had been working alongside St John Ambulance staff for the last two days to become certified vaccination volunteers.
This would enable firefighters to administer the vaccine to those who are eligible.
